Our journey began in 1997, when Kulwant Singh discovered his love for cooking in a traditional North Indian kitchen. What started as a passion for spices and flavors turned into a lifelong dream shared with his wife Raj.
In 2011, the couple opened their first restaurant, Taste of India, in Vienna. By 2018, they launched a second location, Taste of India Marxergasse, becoming a favorite destination for Indian cuisine in Austria.
Now in 2025, they bring their culinary passion to Canada with Mr & Mrs Singh Kitchen — a celebration of heritage, warmth, and bold North Indian flavors. Every dish is prepared with love, tradition, and the joy of sharing.
